Paul called his campaign “self propelled”, meaning that it is driven by his supporters who are extremely enthusiastic. His record breaking fundraising day was organized and planned entirely by Paul supporters.
Paul was also asked about Pakistan which is a critical issue that needs our attention. Paul was asked what he would do about the situation if he was president now.
Paul started off by saying that he would cut off U.S. funding to Pakistan and no longer interfere with their government. Paul also added that President Pervez Musharraf is, “ a us puppet of ours” and a military dictator.
Paul explained that part of the reason people in that region do not like America is because we say we support Democracy but yet we support a puppet dictator like Musharraf. He said he would continue trading and talking with Pakistan but would not interfere with their affairs.
“I would say change the policy and I would say we would have a better relationship with all countries of the world,” Paul added.
Kind of makes some sense… It is too bad that one of the only candidates that usually makes a lot of sense tends to get ignored. As a Democrat, I am surprised how often I find myself agreeing with Paul….Minus the whole wanting to get rid of basically all government offices.
